This is primarily for show. Turns out stainless steel, as much as I love it, is heavy. This is almost too heavy for me to swing and I sure as hell would not want to get hit with it. This was more of an experiment to see if a cat o' 9 could be done rather than any serious intention of actually using it. My parents think I'm weird but they're strangely okay with this. I asked my dad if he could lathe me a handle for it. Told him exactly what I was working on, what I wanted it for, and everything. He took it in stride going "I think we can do something for that". My parents are weird, but they're my weird.
